Hi I’m Satva.[she/her]

Originally from Germany (Bavarian Forest and Berlin), I’ve been a Sydney DJ for over 20 years and found my musical home with an eclectic mix of Soul, Latin, Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Reggae and beyond. 

I have a passion for super pretty and beautiful songs and enjoy contrast in my sets. I  LOVE to blend and join the dots between slow and fast, modern and old and across different genres.

I read the mood of the room, look at the individual people and cater for my audience at the time - like playing a love song for the pair that’s on their first date or pulling out a disco banger for the happy person in the corner that’s just waiting to dance. 

I have DJed in a wide range of different settings, whether it’s a fancy restaurant, hip brewery, City of Sydney street events, a sweaty warehouse dancefloor, a scenic rockpool overlooking the ocean on a Sunday afternoon or a dancing street parade, celebrating diversity and inclusion.

I have a huge passion for event concept creation and love events with social, political and creative focus.
