Mrs S [her/she]

Mrs S stirs dancing feet every time she takes to the turntables. Her mixes take you on a journey from Rare and Crossover Soul, to underground Disco, with an occasional sprinkle of 60ies and contemporary soul. She has played at many prestigious Rare Soul nights all over Australia, from Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane to Newcastle, and she was invited to spin records in Barcelona at the prestigious ‘Movin’ On’ Allnighter. She co-hosted Sydney’s original Disco night ‘Motion’ at the Hollywood Hotel in Surry Hills, was co-organiser at the legendary ‘Sunset Soul’ at the Bondi Bowling Club, and created ‘Maison Disco’ during lockdown with DJs from around Australia. She was also involved in the organisation of multiple ‘Sydney Soul Weekenders’. Mrs S is proud to be a part of the all-female/non-binary Queen Bee DJ-collective. She has spun records since the very first time the collective took over the Hive Bar in Erskineville. She co-hosted ‘Soulqualia’ on Bondi Beach Radio and is a regular guest on ‘Sounds of Soul’ on Eastside Radio.
